6-19/11/17, New York, USA
Following a highly successful 2016 Conference, which got glowing evaluations from registrants from 51 countries, the 2017 Conferences promises to be even bigger and better. It again offers a unique opportunity to visit New York City in the very popular pre-Christmas season at greatly discounted hotel costs, and the Organizing Committee again guarantees that the program, except for 6 Pre-Conference Workshops all held in a single auditorium, will really induce a new mindset of “thinking differently” that will change clinical practice patterns and induce new research concepts. For those who cannot attend the Annual ASRM Meeting in San Antonio, Texas, the Conference for the first time will offer a session on the ASRM’s “most interesting presentations.”
The Conference is sponsored and organized by the Foundation for Reproductive Medicine (FRM), a not-for-profit research foundation exclusively dedicated to research in reproductive medicine and biology.
We are looking forward to welcoming you in New York City!

Managing patients with impaired or poor ovarian response (POR) is a challenging issue. Number of oocytes retrieved has been adopted as a criterion of POR in most clinical trials, although the threshold number differs considerably between studies. A panel of experts (Patient-Oriented Strategies Encompassing Individualized Oocyte Number, the POSEIDON group) recently proposed new criteria to help guide the physician in handling POR patients.
This workshop will introduce the new POSEIDON criteria as a means to improve the management of patients exposed to assisted reproductive technologies, promote more specific approaches to patients with impaired prognosis during IVF, thereby offering better tools with which to optimize IVF success rates.

Reproductive Medicine Assisted Reproductive Technologies, Reproductive Genetics and Surgery are witnessing a significant expansion both clinically and in basic research. Obviously they will continue to undergo innovative and revolutionary changes in the forthcoming years, which may change our understanding and practice in the diagnosis and treatment of infertile couples. The information which will be accumulated in the near future especially in the field of stem cell research, molecular reproduction and human genetics may help our profession to be able to help more couples to have healthy babies.
Both Societies; International Society of Infertility and In Vitro Fertilization (ISIVF) and Society of Reproductive Medicine and Surgery (SRMS) are dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of infertility and reproductive health including the promotion of science and research in all aspects of reproductive medicine and assisted reproductive technologies and human genetics, the understanding of evidence-based practices between clinicians and the enhancement of communication between scientists interested in these subjects worldwide.
